DELTONA, FL – Recent reports have raised concerns about potential procedural irregularities in the mayor’s use of city funds. The Volusia County Democratic Party believes that accountability and transparency are fundamental to good governance at all levels.
“Accountability begins locally, and residents should demand transparency and trust from all levels of leadership,” said the Volusia County Democratic Party Chair, Nick Sakhnovsky. “It is crucial that city funds are used responsibly and in the best interest of all Deltona residents.”
The Volusia County Democratic Party urges all residents of Deltona, regardless of political affiliation, to attend the upcoming Deltona City Commission meeting on Monday, February 3rd, at 6:00 PM, at City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd., Deltona.
We emphasize the importance of civic engagement and encourage all citizens to participate in local government processes. This meeting provides an opportunity for residents to voice their concerns and ensure that their elected officials are held to the highest standards of integrity.
